The part when Rand and Mat make it to Four Kings.
It’s been rather slow in explaining lore and the magic system, but it’s at least been interesting. Reading the chase scenes and when Mat and Rand leave Whitebridge had me stressed out.

RIP Thom? I’m pretty sure but I’m very wary. That merchant, Fain, came back after being presumed dead.
Highly recommend sneaking in Warbreaker before you finish Words of Radiance if possible.

Oh I’ll for sure check it out after I finish. I have heard that this series is already pretty straightforward in a classical good vs evil - which is fine by me. But I don’t want any major spoilers.
I agree. Official communication like this is incredibly unprofessional. Not to mention the guy’s an S grade scumbag.

And when you go all caps that usually turns off any autocorrect too.
I am actually a crazy person and will listen to the audio books while I do chores/commute and read on my e-reader when actively reading. Thanks for the tip though!
It’s not a bad book - it’s just made it harder to pick up WoT to start with I think.
I usually go into fantasy novels not knowing cultures or anything about the world, but these country names are just sliding out of my brain into a memory hole.
These are on my to do list. Currently been reading through Wheel of Time, which has been on my fantasy to do list for a while.
