I do dislike the current monotheistic understanding of gods and religion, which is more what the comic is clowning on. It isn't about any physical entities walking the earth, but the untouchable concept of an all powerful capital G god. It's not sexualizing you in any way, but a specific diety that needs to be brought down from its throne. I'm sorry if that wasn't how you interpreted it.
