I wouldn't say games. I'd say carefully calculated reward dopamine triggers with tendrils snaking directly to the entirety of my liquid assets disguised as games.

If they lied about that, so casually and unnecessarily, what else will they be lying about? The rat poison to taste as the special ingredient?

I know next to nothing about any of the subject, but I'm bloody impressed by the preservation

Yeah just use it as normal and have patience.

Only reason I'm here is after getting arbitrarily banned from reddit for the 3rd time and refusing to make a new one.

Supposed to be. From a pure animal point of view They're successful enough to have reproduced. Given that between them they make up your entire genetic composition, the wisest course of action is to emulate them.

Then human society got to a point where the bar for survival/reproduction is so low that it's not necessarily a good idea to emulate them.

Because it's a recognisable brand name that's easier and more palatable to communicate than "sell videos of increasingly depraved sex acts en masse"

It's just how it's been normalised. Anyone who is actually interested and wants to get engaged will learn better quite quickly.

The upbeat music that plays once you hit out with some evidence that puts you on the attack. I've never felt so emotionally hyped and invested from a text-reading game.

I had the same thought with cape and peninsula

You've obviously put a lot more thought into this than I ever will, but I've never reached a point of claustrophobia, more the opposite, like agoraphobia. Every time I learn a little more there's references to things I don't know yet so need to learn those to understand that. But surprise! That topic also has references and underlying details I don't understand and haven't heard of before.

I get very intimidated by the awareness of the sheer scope of my ignorance.
