Isn't graphite powder normally the best solution for locks?

I have chickens. They will absolutely eat anything. If it runs away, they'll have fun eating it

That seems like a great suggestion, thanks. I'll see what I can balance there.

What’s your thought on choosing X870 over B850?

the x870 requires pcie5.0 apparently, where the b850 doesn't - figured it'd be more upgradeable for him in the future

Personally I would rather spend that money to upgrade the PSU to a 1000W

pcpartpicker says the build would only be 400W, my understanding is that peak PSU efficiency is at ~50% load, so I went for something in the ~800W range. What benefits might 1000W provide?

7800X3D or 9800X3D over the Ryzen 7900

aside from the igpu, the improvements of those CPUs seems minimal - he's probably not going to be gaming much honestly... but he wants it to be capable

Dad wants a new PC. He's considering spending way-too-much on an Alienware, so I figured I'd build him something better+cheaper.

I've built a couple PCs before, but never anything this high-end or expensive so I'd very much appreciate some feedback from an experienced community.

But this hitler is so incredibly dumb, the other one is the defacto smart one by comparison

I'm on chapter ~130. It's great. Feels like less of a sanderlanch than Rhythm of War to me though.

I'd love to know the technical reasoning for this. It probably has to do with clock frequency multipliers like when doing serial comms your baud needs to be pretty close to the spec but it's pretty much never going to be exact.

Yeah in Melbourne several years back we had a heat wave that fucked up a bunch of the train tracks.

Isn't the thunk-thunk as you're travelling the wheels of the carriage passing over the expansion joints?.
