I have limited experience, but Cisco using the same part number for subsequent generations of a part is just mind boggling. Having to call your Cisco rep to demand a picture of the part they're sending because they've sent the old version twice now is just mind boggling.

And yes, I'm prepared to receive a picture of the old part, I have embraced it.

Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

Diversity is paramount for social media, otherwise it becomes an echo chamber or worse.

Say what you will about the average redditor, but remember at a certain point they're just the average person.

I mean, love me some Linux nerds and Germans as much as the rest of you but lemmy needs more.

With his stance against trump, he has people at the office saying things like, "I don't like Ford but I'm happy he's standing up to Trump" and I think Doug knows that's the best popularity boost he's going to get in the foreseeable future.

Dude caused a dip in US GDP, stop acting shocked authorities are making a show of it.

This coupled with a large land mass with high population makes it more difficult to make the expensive infrastructure upgrades necessary for modern banking innovations like tap to pay and the loss of the need for physical signatures.

Many of these innovations are only making it to the US now because of larger foreign banks entering the US market, as well as the plummeting costs of technology.
