So it’s a little frustrating that liberalism can barely get off the ground in America because of a constant barrage by rightwing radicals, and then it’s getting tugged down on the other end by marxists. The last President with a budget surplus was Clinton. Budget surpluses are the first step towards paying for more social programs that we both champion. But that won’t happen as long as Republicans have control because they will always stand for large tax cuts and bending over backwards for corporations
