OR...hear me out...Trump is sick of him and wants him gone (because two egos that large cannot coexist in the same space indefinitely) and this is the cover story.

OR...Elon has already accomplished 99.9% of what he wanted by gaining access to all the data he wanted and further embedding SpaceX, Starlink, etc., into government contracts.

OR...some mix of all of the above.

NMAP still has a semi-open-source license. Not sure if anyone else considers in FOSS, but it's a critical tool in network security.

Also, I've never used any commercial video editing software but kdenlive is awesome.

It essentially splits the archive into multiple rar sub-files (*.r00, *.r01, etc.) and then creates several more chunks that contain parity information (par2 files) that go with it. By doing so, if you then lose *.r45 but get *.r00-r99 you can recover the *.r45 file from the parity (par2) data. It's pretty slick.

I don't expect it to sway any of them. But it should get some media attention. And the longer it goes on, the more likely it will. And that will generate more pushback.

Same. I mean...I know he has the best medical care possible...but he's old AF, fat, does not exercise, his brain is quickly turning further into mush, and no matter how much his handlers insulate him from doing actual work, he still has an insanely stressful job. I don't see how he makes it to 2028 without major health problems up to and including stroke, heart attack, and/or death.

I'm a long time Linux user going back to the linux 1 kernel days. The only reason I still use Windows on my home PC is for gaming. I know Linux has come a long way thanks to many contributors like Valve, but how stable are the AMD video drivers and how well does it work for playing AAA PC games? The last time I built a new PC (2023) I tried running Linux w/ Windows in a KVM virtual machine and direct GPU passthrough, but that was such a nightmare to get set up and working, I just wiped it and installed Windows 11. I game on it and run Hyper-V VMs for Linux, which works quite well actually but feels like a sin.

I agree with you that kidnapping & killing civilians is not the way to go for any group. But do you see how your statement applies the same way to Isreal & the US?
