You underestimate how tech-dumb the majority of people are
I mean, idk if there's any truth to this. My sense of smell is permanently disabled due to PCD and my sense of taste is still pretty accurate.

How's it better than Google? Google is the king of data, idk how this competes with that
It's garbage outside of the US for local results. Bing is somewhat better, but still not good enough. In the US though, plenty of good alternatives to Google search
Meh, in some places like certain parts of bay area, it's not very usual to get stuck in traffic. So unless you disincentivize it with and provide good alternatives with public transport, people are not gonna even consider it.
