  • Slice & Dice is a fun game here and there
  • Poweramp Equalizer is pretty nifty if you use decent headphones or swap listening devices frequently. You can save profiles per device.

It's reasons like wanting to complete existing work and not overextending that I am happy to wait to create an account. I've been super happy with how y'all are running things! If there's anything I can do to help, I'd love to pitch in some!

I've been describing this as if Animal Crossing had an MMO. It's cute, cartoony, and cozy/relaxing. It has all of the typical MMO activities but a very heavy focus on house building and customization. The fishing mini game is decent to not get too boring and the cooking skills are a fun mix of different mini games. Overall it's a nice balance of freshness and QoL improvements for a nice chill gaming session. I'm excited to see where jt goes after launch!

It's only cosmetics. It's just getting to beta but they have a decent start to the store for clothing items for purchase. Doesn't seem to be a terrible way at all. Aside from the tutorial mission about it, you could simply never interact with the storefront ever again.

It's probably clarified/protected in the EULA but who's got time to read that in its entirety?!

It is so much an "Animal Crossing, the MMO" type of game. I've been having a blast in the closed beta. The house building aspect is surely what op is looking for. So many little details one can build out!

I've always liked cats and was in awe of pumas and cheetahs when visiting a zoo or watching documentaries. I chose to base my fursona on a cheetah since they are less populated and easier to make unique (in my opinion).

Ultimately, it's pretty easy to just pick your favourite species for your first sona. You can always make other OCs whenever you want!

It's too early to know how exactly it'll be implemented, but I'd bet there would likely be a toggle/setting to turn on at the very least. I'm sure the upgrade instructions will be early laid out how to enable it.

I love that I learned about Google Domains being shut down from a Lemmy comment~ I was debating moving those away from Google anyway. Has anyone else already done research and narrowed down the list of decent registrars worth using?

Wait, we're losing our grandfathered pricing?! Bummer. I guess I'll give Tidal another shot. Their service was nice and I like that they pay the artist the most compared to the other popular platforms. I didn't like their "radios"/auto playlists but maybe they've upgraded their algorithms since three years ago.

Yes, the seller was Topton Computer Store. No complaints from me on the purchase/process!

I use a similar one of these (different io panel and case) for OPNSense and it's been a delight. Not sure how well it would handle Plex but if you don't need to transcode the files it should be fine. I bought one without ram, os, and storage for $150 last year. That listing isn't available anymore.
