The slippery slope fallacy is when you don't detail what would make the slope even slippery in the first place

There's nothing to disagree with

The problem tolerating intolerance is it only works if the intolerants, in turn, also let you express yourself after they gain power, which they won't, because they are intolerant. You need to be lucky every time and they only need to be lucky once. And the only thing preventing the disaster is that there isn't an infinite amount of time ahead of you

It was an announcement in class by the teachers

I got called "chicken curry" for years

I thought I made people mad by ordering a curry chicken sandwich in a student-ran shop in college, but I hadn't paid attention to an announcement that was made at the end of the class and I accidentally interrupted the minute of silence for a terrorist attack that had happened a few days before

When I was 12 learning C from a programmer friend

"This is too complicated"

"Why does it matter if it's complicated?"

Yeah actually, I don't have a reason to feel threatened by complicated things. There is no cost to tiring your brain, no cost to doing something tedious

You do realize people have the ability to not act upon every urge right

So who cares? You've got a brain for a reason

I'd be surprised because countries like Switzerland still have a big skew in their voters demographics

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

It wouldn't change anything

Have you seen how old the average voter is?

He's pushed pseudoscience from ice baths to loonie egypt bullcrap to just about all of the facebook posts your grandpa shares around with no critical thinking at all, conspiracy theories, discouraged young people from getting the vaccine, given a blank check of a platform with no opposition or fact checking to climate skepticism, transgender hate in sports, made LOTS of racist comments that just keep popping up, liberal use of the n word, fearmongering some slippery slopes about "the wokes"

Long way to avoid saying all of the important things

? What's up with the aggressiveness level

What about finding a dedicated room to lay back in? Smoke some of that tent weed in it, come back chilled out

I can see that you think you answered the question

Also hey you're not forced to answer anything

You should however understand that you're going to leave people perplexed when the question is "why is a tennis ball yellow" and you reply "to play tennis"

And considering that it took you 6 posts to give such a reply I feel like you should 1) refrain from being mean to anyone and 2) avoid claiming to have a higher grasp of anything compared to anyone

But that's just my personal tip to you
