Unfortunately it's because our leaders also are pretty fascists, although not as explicit as them

Do people donate through the store paiement system? If so, it may be a scam based on tax evasion, depending on the country. In France for example donations to non profit lead to tax deduction. Big stores ask for donations at checkout. This way, they can deduct like 60% of people's donations from their tax

Why do you think China has a capitalist economy? Because it is thriving? It is indeed! But this is unrelated to capitalism. Capitalism is not economy good and international market access, socialism share potato and live happily.

Capitalism is the control of means of production by a few individuals and exploitation of the workers enabled by this private possession. In China, the small and medium companies are allowed to be private but the bigger companies or the ones in critical fields are nationalized. Something like 80% of investment firms are public as well

Yes, Chinese people deserve freedom to express their political view. And they can do such in the democratic centralism state. Research by Western institutes (in the US for example) shows that the 95% of the people are satisfied with the government

If you want to learn more about China and unlearn a few misconceptions and propaganda we've all been subjected to, this wiki sums up a lot a things: https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/People%27s_Republic_of_China

I've noticed recently (a couple of weeks) that searching for emoji via the search bar in the emoji panel seems now to be impossible in Google Board when the app does not have internet access (for privacy reasons).

The error message translates to "Emoji search data in unavailable". It only says this when my native language/keyboard layout is selected, not on US English QWERTY. There, search works as usual

Is it something already talked about? I do not want to enable internet connection on this app because of Google telemetry (I don't have GSF installed and use GrapheneOS)

Thanks for any bit of information/advice on this
