This sounds like great news, but why is this site asking me for a username and password?

Wow, this is an awesome move! We are honestly so lucky that Valve hasn't enshittified like so many other gaming companies out there.
This makes me sick to my stomach. How can this be real? How could they possibly want to give coaches this kind of immunity? How can a Facebook page like this exist out in the open?
You should send this to the police without the names redacted, if you haven't already. These sickos clearly intend to cause harm, and they're admitting it out in the open.
Wait, really? I've found the new outlook opens emails faster than the old one, especially the HTML-heavy ones that my work loves to send me.
The refactor to the rules UI is really nice too, the old one was so crusty. Can't comment on the timezone issue though.
This is good news considering Russia's increasing hostility, but it's surprising that they don't even plan on starting construction until 2030. How does it take us so long to even get started on a defense project like this?
I'm honestly not against this. I know a lot of people will be furious with Mozilla about doing anything related to advertising, but as the article says:
And, for the foreseeable future at least, advertising is a key commercial engine of the internet, and the most efficient way to ensure the majority of content remains free and accessible to as many people as possible.
We may dislike ads, but the vast majority of internet users are not going to engage with content that requires you to pay up front. Creators and journalists need money to survive, and currently, ad-supported viewing is necessary for that to happen.
Instead of just hoping that advertising somehow goes away, I'm glad that Mozilla is working on ways for ads to exist without mass individual user tracking. I wish it wasn't necessary, but wishing won't change the world.
the psychically disabled
It's always been so hard for the psychically deaf to get ahead in this world... Getting discriminated against in job interviews, having to hustle pencils on the side of the street. All because we can't move shit with our minds or speak without our mouths.
My co-workers are always talking to each other telepathically when I'm around, laughing about their psychic in-jokes, knowing I can't hear them. It's honestly so rude. They're probably making fun of me in there, tossing mean comments in the conduit between their attuned minds 😠
Well guess what? The psychically deaf are just as good as the psychics! There's nothing they can do with their minds that we can't do with good old fashioned human muscle 😤 we deserve respect!
My first game was Yoshi's Island for the Game Boy Advance! I still go back and play it every few years, I love that game.
I think it's worth getting. I liked how they made it so different from the base game, and still managed to create an interesting mystery for you to unravel that gives background to the base game's story.
I didn't like how heavily it leaned into horror though. Horror's just not really my thing - there was one section in particular that was super stressful for me. But if you can tolerate (or enjoy) the horror elements, then you'll like the DLC.
My top three would be Rimworld, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Metroid Prime.
Honorable mentions to Outer Wilds, Hollow Knight, Windwaker, Subnautica... There are so many great games out there that it's hard to pick a top three!
What a horrible situation. I just sent RAPS a donation to help them deal with this - if you're financially able to, please send a few bucks their way. I adopted my current cat from RAPS, they are a great no-kill shelter and they need all the help they can get.
