Halo is my top pick, the first three have great stories and couch co-op if you need that, and if you get the master chief collection (halo mcc), the multiplayer is great and you can find tons of forge mode maps created by people, from race modes to mini golf haha

Gears of war is also fantastic, epic story, fun gameplay, and who doesn't love a chainsaw bayonet lol

Deep rock galactic is another really fun one, I can't say there's too deep of a story too it, but it's endlessly repayable with all the combinations of weapons and procedurally generated missions.

Any sale recommendations for co-op games or remote play together games that are on sale?

I usually watch YouTube on a laptop hooked up to my tv, so I downloaded freetube and just imported my subscriptions. It's got sponsorblock and other features built in, but you can't like or comment on videos. Overall though I've been using it for about 6 months now and wouldn't dream of going back to YouTube and trying to constantly deal with them fucking it up more daily.

For chaos The Ahriman omnibus follows Ahriman from thr thousand sons legion after the heresy and is a fun story. It's got lots of thousand sons warp fuckery and some great characters.

The night lords omnibus is one of the first 40k books I read going into 40k with not a whole lot of knowledge. It's still probably my favorite 40k book, the characters are written incredibly well, the dark moments of horrific comedy are there, it features some great fights.

Fabius bile omnibus follows fabius bile of the emperors children legion in what's essential a great mad scientist story. Once again great characters and a fun story definitely worth the read.

The lion son of the forest is a very new 40k that follows the lions return to the setting. From what I remember it doesn't require a whole lot of backstory to be neccesary, as it explains a lot along the way. It's very involved with some dark angels space marine characters so I could be a decent jumping off point of sorts.

Showed up for me on google.ca lol. Glad I switched to duck duck go a whole a go.

Hey, I'm looking for a note app to replace notion. The main features I'm looking for are the ability to have different notebooks (or folders), the ability to have notes available offline(something I recently realized notion does not do), the ability so search in notes for words or phrases, and preferably a sync feature to backup notes to a desktop or another device. If anyone has any reccomendations I'd love to hear they and give them a try. Thanks!

How does the quote go, "die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" what a shameful fall for Google

I'd recommend voyager first it's what I've been mostly using and since I started there's been almost daily updates adding more and more quality of life features and stuff people are requesting. It's been pretty incredible to see! There's also a neat feature that can take your list of subreddits from a reddit account and help you find their equivalents throughout lemmy. Liftoff and Thunder are 2 other good ones I've been playing around with. And best of all, no fuckin ads haha

I used to use an app called airmore on my phone and desktop to play music. It does photos and videos too. If I remember you download the airmore app on your phone(I think you have to install it by apk) and then it'll direct you to a web Adress on your pc. Once there you scan a QR code to pair thr devices and you can cast stuff from your phone to your pc. I haven't used it in a while but it always worked pretty decent for me.
