I think people should be very sceptical of race fetishes. Especially white people who fantasize about Black men. A lot of the time the fetish comes from racist ideas about how black men are more animalistic and more masculine than white men. This is untrue and it ends up hurting Black people by reducing them to stereotypes. Stereotypes that stem from a racist history of colonialism.

I think white people who have those kinds of fantasies should take a look at what role Black people play in their fantasies, and whether they allow the Black people to actually be persons or whether they are just looking for a (racist) stereotype to make themselves feel good.
