I'm extremely pro-cannabis but this is a pretty shitty headline, ragebait by omission really, as the CEO specifically says:

“We’d be naive if we didn’t say that there isn’t some pressure coming from those, but I still would argue that it is the consumer and their wallet just doesn’t have as much money in it,” he said.

and

Whiting also commented on international trends and said that “Europe has largely been seeing trends that are really the same as The United States, yet they don’t have the cannabis issue,”

I work in a trade and some of these creatures are both of those, along with a healthy portion of willful ignorance, arrogance and apathy. I'm grateful I get to work mostly alone, but interacting with some is painful enough that it feels like a chore.

"Characteristic for his opinion is this quotation from the preface to his essay of 1768 "that all the fuss doesn't come from anything other than vain fear, superstitious credulity, dark and eventful imagination and simplicity and ignorance among these people.""

Some things never change.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedona_Prince

"Since 2019, Prince has been accused by four women "of either assault or sexual assault." One of Prince's former partners filed, and later dropped, a lawsuit against her accusing her of sexual assault. Molly Hensley-Clancy of The Washington Post wrote that "Prince asked two women who later accused her of domestic violence to sign nondisclosure agreements, according to police records and an ex-girlfriend. Prince also threatened legal action against women who have spoken about her on social media".

"In August 2024, one of Prince's former girlfriends, Olivia Stabile, posted a series of [TikTok] videos accusing Prince of physical and verbal abuse. Included in the posts were accusations of Prince shoving her to the ground and threatening to sue Stabile if she were to go public about the incident."

"In January 2025, Prince and an ex-girlfriend were "involved in a physical altercation;" Prince sustained a black eye."

The book referenced here, "Bullshit Jobs" by David Graeber is a great (if maddening) read, I would highly recommend it. This article is referencing Graeber's "system" of weeding out "bullshit jobs" built upon in that book.

Makes sense, what if she took the vaccine and it killed her? Oh, wait..
