Hope so. They’ve been trying to undermine the Swedish job market here, and even fucking stalked their employees. Horrible company.

Ooh! That’s lovely!

I started because my dog always got excited watching runners and it felt like less work than strapping him to my bicycle. I’ll still bike with him, but getting to run together is really nice.

I never understood this, however a month ago I started running. Three days a week. Now I get it, I really look forward to running.

Absolutely. However, relational or financial status shouldn't enter into the equation if someone says the attention is unwanted.

I had a friend whose parents would literally cross continents to show up unannounced at their doorstep, demanding to meet with grandchildren and make decisions in my friend's life. A lot of people would just go "aww it's because they care" but these are people that physically and mentally abused my friend during their entire childhood. They're estranged for a reason.

I have a very similar relationship with my mother. She views me less as an individual person and more as property to be controlled and used. When we moved for the first time, I'd managed to upset her one way or another, and her response was to strike me down, straddle me, choke me, and slam me repeatedly in the floor. I was around seven or eight years old at the time. Her showing up and sitting outside of my doorstep for hours on end, demanding that I see her, isn't a cutesy way of showing her dedication to being in my life, it's unhinged and completely unacceptable.

Same thing with family members. If you have an estranged parent or so, then harassing and stalking you is somehow always turned into your fault.

“She just cares about you, she’s your mother!”

I hope you’ll be rid your stalker soon. I remember how oppressive it was having one, and I can’t imagine how doubly awful it must be to have one that has financial means to do whatever they want. Absolute nightmare.

I don't really play high level stuff. I'm too scared to find proper raid groups and such.

Guild Wars 2 has a similar thing going on with their professions. They're still decently diverse, but ANet has been removing the profession unique buffs etc. and homogenizing them. I think it started back after HoT when Alacrity (recast speed reduction) was changed from being a Chronomancer only buff to being available on other professions as well, and over time they've just removed them more and more.

They're still not homogenised to the level of FFXIV though, and there's uniqueness in mechanics between professions.

I do see the point of doing that though. It removes the "we must bring X for Y buff" reason, but I feel like FFXIV has gone a bit too far in the sense that what makes the jobs unique is almost gone from them. They gave back the unique card buffs on Astrologian, but I don't like the cadence of the cards now. I don't remember exactly how it worked in Endwalker, if you got mana back from drawing or playing a card, but regardless I really enjoyed planning out how I'd play my cards, and wished that the cards had more unique effects than "small DPS boost to melee or ranged". Now we have more effects, but the cadence is gone, I no longer need to plan my cards in the same manner, and there's no little coloured thingies to fill up to get Astrodyne.

That kind of pressure of optimising which cards goes where and ensuring I played cards in a way that maximised Astrodyne was what made Astrologian fun to me. Now it's literally just White Mage. It's really sad.

That's not to say that I dislike White Mage, I love it, it's nice and relaxed, but I preferred the higher tempo of Astrologian, and that's just gone now.

Any thoughts on the new mount? Personally I love it! It reminds me so much of the Sulyvahn's Beast enemies in Dark Souls 3.

Who's a good boy?
