Same with WA's Glusenkamp Perez. Pretty rural north of Portland there.

It's not that you don't take your job seriously, it's that the same amount of work still needs to be done with less people and less oversight. People get tired. People make mistakes when they're tired and overworked.

Fun fact: The terms first/second/third world counties had to do with what side you were on in WWII. First were the Allies, second Axis powers, and third were the neutral countries.

Since the Allies won WWII, they recovered faster and were pretty wealthy during the cold war era. No one really says "second world country" since the Axis powes got smashed. "Third world countries" were generally those too poor to have contributed much during or after the war, so "third world" got associated with a shitty place to live.

I bought a model 3 in 2019 thinking I was doing a good thing being a relatively early adopter. Now I'm stuck driving this stupid thing. Who the hell is going to buy a used swasticar?

The only effective short-term roadblocks are going to be legal challenges, like the ones WA's governor and AG have been preparing for. You're right that this only works until it gets overturned by SCOTUS, and it doubly hurts progressives because we now have to spend resources (time and money) fighting nonsense instead of fighting for causes we want...like some goddamn healthcare.

Delay. Deny. Depose.
