Basic doesn't require extra sensors. If we had a camera for other reasons, 100% adaptive (or rather it should at least slow the car down if traffic slows)

Not as bad as google, but yeah they have a tendency to overstep. The only way to make settings stick is the traditional way, which is the group policy editor. Settings there usually stick for 20-30 years
I hate to alarm you but the entire planet knew climate change was going to happen 50 years ago because that was the 70s when this became well known.
Oil companies were noticing several decades before.
Sounds pretty often to me. Thanks for confirming my understanding of the laws.
I too just checked, it's illegal in Florida, NY, and California which covers such a vast swath of the us population I don't need to look up north Dakota to know that "often illegal" is a fair description.
It's not illegal in Texas (last of the big 4 states), but neither is shooting a girl scout in the face because she made you "feel unsafe".
Tell me you're a young man without telling me you're a young man.

That's literally what Linux updates are
Anyway if you read the article it's opt in and fully removable.
Performative luddites at it again I see
Oh I'm sorry do you think calling AI art crap makes you edgy or something? Do you think it's going to make a change? One image on lemmy is not the powerful force of nature some people seem to think it is.
It should have cruise control. Otoh most people driving work trucks drive are scum who drive at like half the speed limit, so maybe they'd also set their cruise control at half the speed limit.
It's often illegal to have headphones on both ears.
I don't know why you're trying to claim it shouldn't be illegal to a random internet stranger. Most things that are illegal shouldn't be, but the HOA types that care about rules are also the ones who want to fuck rules so bad they get into positions of power. So if you want to fix it, go be a rule fucker. Or Luigi the rule fuckers.
It's a lot easier to block out emergency sirens at normal volume levels vs the stereo where you have to have already lost your hearing before it's loud enough to block a siren. The counterpoint to this is when the siren is actually in the music, which is why I don't listen to certain rap while driving anymore.
It's called "history", not "outdated". Op is comparing a historical behavior with a current behavior.
Your jingoism is showing. Belgium is more dangerous per km travelled than the US. France is on par.
