I both agree and disagree. We know how to put a custom rom on it, but most users need to rely on the manufacturer for updates, so it's important to have such support available.

I looked at your other comments. You had problems with kde, but did you use the standard desktop kde or plasma mobile? If you didn't try it, I'd suggest giving plasma mobile a shot.

Another suggestion is to use a distro with wayland, so you can run waydroid and have the option to use android apps.

I know you're asking about linux, but just pointing out that you can try android x86 on it, just in case you don't know about the project.

I understand and partially agree with you. The big players have more power and can pull the strings in so many markets, but their power isn't absolute.

I think it's all part of modern structure of power, to make us think we are powerless and that changes are impossible. It becomes a self proclaimed prophecy, because we stop taking actions because it won't change anything anyway, so everyone does the same, and nothing happens.

We lack organization. Entire revolutions happened in the past. Kings went down and exploited places became independent.

It's not impossible for us to fight back against corporate power, but we need the coordination we lack now. Social network algorithms contribute a lot to keep us fighting over everything, with everyone, preventing our organization.

Perhaps... the fediverse is a first step into some changes. Perhaps, we don't have enough time anymore, perhaps I'm just a naive and foolish dreamer. The future can't be accurately predicted, but onethings is sure: if we don't try to improve things for us, it's much more likely that everyone will get much worse.

People talk about damaging production chains, but won't prioritize local small ones. There are so many examples, but this is enough to get the idea.

Somehow, people love brands and corporations.

And having a central node as an introducer makes all devices connect to each other effortlessly.

Sei não, o timing é bom, mas o povo não tá de saco cheio do musk, especificamente, mas de saco cheio desses bilionários fazendo rede social de playground.

O pessoal tá insatisfeito com o twitter, mas não sai tão facilmente, ainda mais que a rede é baseada em seguir pessoas, então eles precisariam que muita gente influente migre, pra levar os seguidores juntos.

O público mais jovem já foi cativado pelo tik tok e discord, o público mais maturo tá até hoje de burnout do isolamento social e quer é se afastar das redes.

O cenário geral é de instabilidade, e a meta já ganhou fama ruim. Não sei se o povo quer sair se cadastrando assim por aí só porque apareceu uma rede nova.

Mas foi muito bom ler seu comentário, pois talvez eu esteja enviesado pela minha bolha.

Não é possível, o pessoal da meta deve estar sofrendo contaminação por chumbo. Eles estão só fazendo investimentos em empreitadas que qualquer um na rua saberia dizer que é furada.
