So far this season is pretty good. I've accepted it's a different story than the one told by Robert Jordan so the differences don't bother me too much.

They also seem to have fixed Loial so he no longer looks like a guy with a glued on beard in platform shoes.

No. Biden refused to listen to 10% of his base in the hopes of keeping the 90% happy. That 10% decided they'd "hold Biden accountable" by supporting Republican flavored genocide, because reasons. Congratulations, I'm sure Biden really learned his lesson.
