The notwithstanding clause show be usable by government bodies exactly once in history.

Bonus point: they would be able to reuse it if they cancel the law that required it the first time around.

Edit: to be honest, it should not exist at all.

Could be part of a new propaganda campaign: muddy the water about the left, so that any leftist law can be called evil and reverted.

Yeah... That's why I keep silent about my ADHD diagnosis at work, even if I'm one of the senior whom helps everyone with everything while also handling the more complex projects...

Somehow, I know that there would still be some stigma around it... :(

You can always troll teenagers by using their words in slightly off contexts.

No way my parents did that accidentally!

If you're unsure about yourself and an official diagnostic would help you know, then id say go for it.

If you know yourself, then an official paper won't change you. It will only be useful for external recognition, and then that's very dependent on the system in which you live.

That being said, I'm just a person with no training on this topic. You should put your psychiatrist advice before mine!

I'm mostly a "wikipedia reader" type of person, so I don't have good pop sci sources to recommend... Sorry!

Also, any neurodivergent person will share some common experience coming from not being part of the matin group... I have many friends with ASD, while I'm ADHD.

While we are very different, we also get along so well because we share the fact that our behaviours and tastes are unexpected. We have much greater patience for other people's "quirks"!

Now that it seems decided that the word "weird" should be used in a derogatory way against sociopathic narcissists in politics, I have to be careful about how i use this word.

In the recent years, I usually used it to describe someone or something that was different in an interesting and charming way. I am neurodivergent in a way that is easily hidden (not that I make coucious efforts to hide it), I would often describe myself as just "slightly weird". I no longer want to use this word to describe myself anymore because of the above mentioned reasons.

In old literature, I've seen the word queer used as such, but today it doesn't really carry that meaning anymore. Although I wouldn't really mind if it confused people about my gender, I don't really worry about that. 😁

Any other suggestions ro help describe myself that wouldn't put the focus of the discussion on neurotypes?

I love how Zach doesn't event need to explain what they are screaming about.

Here's a joke for you: what's the difference between dogs and cats?

So it should be called "the big boing" instead of the big bang?

Your soul is quantum-entangled with the computer during the transfer, so don't worry! Unless you believe in the many-world interpretation of quantum mechanics, because there's a bug in the software about that specific topic!
