I don't know what website you are listening to but if you can always use Firefox or one of its forks librewolf is Firefox made more perfect imao

You could also use the native program ex. Spotify etc.

I would say for a out of the box and for a beginner is mint way easier than arch. Try to explain your grandma what a kernel is and how modules work in there. Mint autoinstalls every printer driver and co. Arch doesn't. I use arch btw at home but I would never install it for a beginner

You can use pretty much any keyboard but I would recommended a keyboard that is not by a major company that has its own property software

I have a corsair k55 and the extra keys on the left they are useless because if your plug this keyboard into a PC that hasn't corsairs icue installed it goes into " compatibility mode " aka the keyboard forgets your custom settings and keybinds
