Metal printing at home would be such a game changer. Let's give it 10 years, I'm sure it will eventually reach an affordable price point.

Were you making the assumption that the US had a good reputation before that ?

Half of the world hated it outright and the other half was mostly just playing along because of its economic or military power and propensity to behave like a bully.

The only difference is that Trump is too stupid to do it quietly.

You can reactivate the map integration in your Google account settings. Something called "Linked Google services", check "maps".

It should be obvious that we don't know exactly why a plane crashed barely a day ago.

Investigating takes time and since the pilots are dead they'll have to reconstruct the situation from the wreakage, flight data recorders and whatever other information they can piece together.

Expect a few weeks before getting a rough theory and a year or two for a final report after it's done bouncing between all the various authorities who will want to be involved and the manufacturers.

Russia’s aviation watchdog said was an emergency that may have been caused by a bird strike.

That or the plane just fell of a window by accident.

Not exactly fair to put the bar so much higher than most human operated US drone strike.

If the AI only hits a wedding every ten strike that would still be a massive improvement.

And if you wondered what was the response of Macron's government it was to pass an "executive order" (decret) increasing the range of situation where a farmer can implement a "crunch" mode and suppress the otherwise mandatory weekly rest day.

This was specifically tailored for wine producer to make some of their slaver's practices legal.

he piloting equivalent to the Tesla “FSD”.

Seems perfect for suicide bombing drone. They are meant to crash after all.

In a way but you should see the amount of crap he got away with.

This is basically akin to getting the unabomber for using fake stamps. 🤣

Yes, except the antivax movement predate the internet by a hundred year.

But social media does work as an accelerator. Unfortunately it seems to be very good at accelerating stupidity.

You're totally correct and I forgot about that. My S8 could actually do more than the latest flagship if we consider the headphone jack and removable storage. So yeah.. progress...
