I had every Nexus except for the 5, and every Pixel except for the 5. I've had really good luck with them all. Only problem I had was after about a year the wireless charging stopped working on my Pixel 4 XL. I've handed down almost every single phone to either my parents or my kids after at least a year of use and they continue to last a few more years. I can't recall one ever dying. I swear by them.
Artemis is starting out as a Kbin app, but the developer is adding Lemmy support as well.
I used to try and self host RSS but all of them had something I didn't like so now I pay $5/month for Feedbin and I've ever been happier. Works great with Focus Reader on Android.
Actually I only pay $20/month for a hosted opensearch server for my Mastodon instance. I think a lot of people on Mastodon are against full text search for ideological reasons.
I've been an early adopter subscribe for months and I'm loving it. The tools available make searching easier and so much more useful.
Target. Best Buy. Walmart, if I have to. The Shop app is pretty good.
I started paying for Kagi a few months ago and I'm loving it. Search results and tools are great. People balk at paying for a search engine, but at least this way I know I'm not the product.
Ditch iOS if you want more control over your phone.
