the article is about how dictatorships are a worse form of government than republics. It means that dictatorships fail because they creates poorer and worse countries. not that they fails because they are not able to maintain themselves

they are not cutting any fraud. the US already has an independent, non-partisan accountability office that actually investigates spending, instead of cutting random items based on the name without any analysis or understanding like musk is doing. and the executive power (including any stupidly named agency within in) has no power to change the budget set by congress. it is literally unconstitutional.

i think that the reason they are doing it so openly is that the billionaires think that owning all the media will make people not realize what is happening. but i don't think they are as smart as they think they are, so we will have to wait and see how many people realize
