It's hard to believe isn't it? Must just be the work of some mudslinging disgruntled former employees.

Should've worn a suite to that JD Vance meeting.

The 16-page draft order, which is not dated but appears to be prepared for President Donald Trump’s signature, would dramatically upend the department if it is enacted — shuttering American embassies across Southern Africa and eliminating bureaus that work on issues like democracy and human rights, as well as international organizations like the United Nations.

I'm sure China and Russia thinks this is a very bad idea.

Looks like I'll be shopping for a sewing kit. Thank you :)

Amazing! Thank you for your reply and advice, much apprecciated.

Greetings!

I almost always end up with jeans with holes in the bottom of the front pockets, because I wear a lot of stuff in my pockets all the time. The pockets give up way before the jeans themselves, but I don't want to stop wearing a perfectly fine pair of jeans, just because the pockets have given up, so I need to fix them.

In the past I have fixed the issue by folding the pockets above where the holes are, and then sewing across, so as to create a new bottom of the pocket. However, this means I lose pocket volume, which is not what I want.

So, I've been looking at iron on patches for fixing denim, and thinking that might do the trick. I have no experience with iron on patches in general, so wanted to ask if anyone has experience with these?

  • Are they easy to apply?
  • Do they last, both in terms of their ability to stay put where they were applied, and to wear?

Thanks for sharing any experience you've had with iron on patches for this purpose.

We are a household with two kids under 4, and a broken washer/drier, and currently no timeframe for when it will be fixed (waiting for a part). Needless to say, a crisis is brewing.

We've tried one 24h laundry service which turned 9 pairs of socks into 9 individual socks, so that... well... sucks. Pickup and delivery were perfect though, so swings and roundabouts I guess.

Thus I'm looking for any recommendations for reliable overnight laundry services, preferably also providing pickup and delivery.

Trump only invites the best people with this approach. People like him, who creates lots of jobs, and runs from the bills.

A fantastic show indeed.

For nostalgic reasons, The Longest Day is one of my favourite WW2 dramas of all time.

This is what I've been looking for for a very long time. It's amazing, thank you for sharing 😍

My Pixel 7a updated overnight to the latest version of Android (Build number: BP1A.250305.019).

Since the update, I now have a static noise accompanying all haptic feedback, which is quite annoying. Very poor video recorded here: https://files.catbox.moe/vcshm5.mp4

The issue is reproducible in safe boot mode, so not related to an app I have installed.

I've been in touch with Google Support who told me to go and get it diagnosed at one of their approved warranty repair stores (the phone has 1 more year of warranty on it). I called ahead to the store, and the employee told me they don't diagnose or fix issues like that, and told me to mail it in to Google Repair directly instead.

I'm a little concerned about mailing it in, as it can take 7-10 days to get it returned, and there's no guarantee they can repair it. So I guess I'll be without a phone for 7-10 days, which in this day and age really isn't that possible.

Anyone else had this issue with the haptic resulting in a static noise? There are quite a few reports on Reddit about some issues with haptic being affected by the March Pixel update, but none relates to it emitting a static noise like in my case.
