As for redgifs, maybe cookies are causing a problem for you? I would try a private browsing session to check that.
If it's still not working I would try private browser and access a few different locations via your VPN. Different server IPs from the same VPN might have different whitelist/blacklist status with redgifs

I already posted this on c/fuck_machine here at a higher resolution. This is a much lower resolution to see if performance is better, particularly on mobile. Let me know if you have any input :)
