I do appreciate your response. What I guess bugs me even more than this new model, though, is lack of communication from (at)perchance. No announcement for the new model, no warning. This post-factum clarification is fine, I think, but it doesn't feel enough. I'm not saying that they must pander to any whim, but with such backlash (here, reddit, etc.), some more direct kind of response is expected.

And same question for the text generating model, as I know (at)perchance mentioned wanting to upgrade it next... Damn, updates should cause excitement, not anxiety! What's wrong with me?

For me, the new image model just doesn't work at all, even wait times are horrible. And the result is unfortunately not worth that wait to me.

Does anyone know what was used as the old model? I would love to be able to continue using that in any way.

Has been happening to me as well. I've noticed that, if you repeatedly tap on the field while it's verifying, it verifies you much quicker. Maybe it's a placebo though lol

I've witnessed this bizarre bug a few times with various bots on Perchance, but never on any other AI platforms.

As you can see on the picture, it begins when the bot says something unflattering towards the OP. In this case, she says "even someone like you", implying that she expected me to have a bad taste and be a bad person. However, later in the same message, she gets confused and offended, acting as if I had said that thing towards her and not vice versa.

That's quite a surprising bug. Is that a peculiarity of the language model? Has anyone else seen such AI behavior, on Perchance or elsewhere?
