Exactly! But some people won't understand it anyway

Yes. I use Google because it gives me the best results of all the FOSS (but shitty) search engines I've tested. I won't change the tools in my workflow until the replacements work the same or better.

There are several of them and they come pre-installed with uBlock but you have to tick the checkbox next to each of them to activate them. They are located in the “Cookie notices” category.

P.S. I also suggest ticking off all the lists in the “Annoyances” category 🙂

SOLVED

Edit: Solved using workaround of creating a systemd service that disables GPP0 wakeup: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=364220&start=20

Hey everyone!

The suspend feature has never worked on my system, so I always turned it off in the settings. But now, with the electricity prices going up in my country (we have the most expensive electricity in Europe, lol), I figured it’s a good time to tackle this.

When the system tries to go into sleep mode, it just wakes up right away, and the monitors don’t show anything (no signal). I’ve got a backlit keyboard and an RGB mouse, but they don’t light up during this, and the caps lock key doesn’t respond when I press it.

I’m on kernel 6.12.7 and I updated the BIOS a few days ago, but the problem is still there.

My hardware:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
  • MOBO: GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X V2 (rev. 1.3)
  • GPU: RX 6700 XT
  • PSU: SilentiumPC Supremo M2 (600W I guess?)
  • CASE: be quiet! Pure Base DX500

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I would really appreciate your help!

Using (only) corpomedia to announce information at government level should be illegal.

Is it about popularity? The publisher of the game? Or maybe the quality?

Hi I wanted to know if anyone here is using Standard Notes (https://standardnotes.com/) as their daily driver for taking notes.

Is it fully open source (the server and the client)? How well does it work for note-taking?

"The reason is a combination of Google making Play publishing something between hard and impossible and no active maintenance. The app saw no significant development for a long time and without Play releases I do no longer see enough benefit and/or have enough motivation to keep up the ongoing maintenance an app requires even without doing much, if any, changes."

Hi, I am looking for a self hosted calendar where I can add and edit events and then embed it on my public website for everyone to see.

I ask completely seriously.

As far as I know, the whole project is open source and is not as invasive as Xitter

I used to know an EDM song, and now I found it in one of the mashup mixes on YouTube (0:22 to 0:36).

It was mixed with Barbie Girl by Aqua vocals so I cleaned it up a bit with the tools available online so I could give it to Shazam (otherwise recognized it as Barbie Girl), but unfortunately it couldn't identify this piece 😔

I know that pushing a commit with an API key is something for which a developer should have his balls cut off, but...

...I'm wondering what I should do if, somehow, I accidentally commit an API key or other sensitive information, an environment variable to the repo.

Should I just revoke the access and leave it as is, or maybe locally remove this commit and force-push a new one without the key? How do you guys handle this situation in a professional environment?
