What was the first modem you ever had? How fast was it? in c/[email protected]

It was a Radio Shack 300 baud modem. A little googling seems to indicate is would likely have been a Tandy DCM-3 “Direct Connect” (as opposed to acoustic coupler) modem.

It was in-line between the wall and a phone so you would pick up the phone, dial the number, head the modem tone, press a red button on the top of the modem and hang up the phone.

Last year it was announced that several of the previously released (but long out of print) and all (or almost all) of the previously unreleased in the US would be parceled out to a few different companies. AnimEigo got the rights to Macross 2 Lovers Again and will kickstart the release this summer.

I'm assuming it will be as filled with extras as their usual releases.
