Yes. I don't fear updates anymore but then i install everything, AUR, flapjacks, several DE's and break the system. I've come to realize that I like tinkering since DOS, I've accepted it and I shall be installing arch again this weekend

Maybe there isn't a market for it. Probably most crackers don't bother with Linux versions and the Linux community always tends to support FOSS software.

Great album, one of my favourites.
Where I'm from Narayan was a summer hit in the dance clubs when it came out, although my friends and I were more into Firestarter and Breathe. I venture saying that it helped bridge punk and dance in a big way.

I've got Transmission on my NAS and use Transmission-remote(Linux and android) for the client. Simple, easy to setup and it just works.

This actually looks cool with several robots being supported

Well, its a way to preserve music history, show them to younger audiences.
I remember falling asleep to this album when I bought my first Walkman

It's not just Asia, my parents are from the 1950s, in an European country, and they had the same mentality. Money through hard work was the equivalent of a good life. Our holidays were never fun. No one knew what enjoying life is.

Slskd - https://github.com/slskd/slskd/
It uses the soulseek network (an old favourite of mine) installed though docker accessible through a browser.
If you want a desktop app, I recommend Nicotine+ for Linux or visit https://www.slsknet.org/news/node/1 for Windows.

The artists I like don't come around where I live, so I can't support through live music. I've done it in the past when I lived in a large city. In the end we're all trying our best. And we all have our use cases, there's no right way to listen to music.

I live in Europe. Had Spotify for about 5 years, stopped paying and using 6 months ago. I usually buy from Bandcamp, mostly non mainstream music, and download in FLAC and store it on my server. I can stream through the app on my phone when I'm out.
For the ones I can't find on Bandcamp, or albums from major labels, I tend to find it on Qobuz in MP3. Pricing trends to be similar everywhere.
My pirating nowadays is mainly for old music or establish artists.

Edit: autocorrect

I thought it was about the true story of how the USA was built

My partner is a long time gamer on Windows. Her Win11 laptop doesn't have the same performance as mine so I setup a gaming account for both. I barely told her anything on how to "operate" it and after a couple of times she has no problem on her own.
Just now, I came back to the pc and see kwrite open with a message from her. Never told her how to do that. She just searched for "notepad" on the menu like she would on Windows.
