What you're saying is true in general but it works pretty well and for a fairly long time in door hinges.

There are at least some 30 million American voters who would believe Trump uncritically.
They'll vote for whoever replaces him too. Nobody had learned any real lesson.
Even around the turn of the 20th century doctors were way cooler than they are now. "Hey doc, my shoulder hurts" "no problem, take this cocaine". Hey doc , I'm sad since my husband left me". "No problem, here's some heroin ".
Now they're all a bunch of nerds who care about evidence and peer review and shit.
No it's Canadian. Owned by our own oligarchs, but they're Canadian oligarchs (Thompson family).
It's worth noting that what you said is the only way this guy is going to get fired. Trump has literally zero intrinsic understanding of the issue. He doesn't use computers or smartphones, probably has only a vague grasp of what an app or end-to-end encryption are, and no understanding of app security vs device security. He has literally no basis on which to understand any of this, and crucially, he won't care to learn if someone explains it to him.
So yeah I have no doubt that he's completely baffled by all of this and doesn't really see how it affects him.
Hey, wooden sticks are a legit way to make life decisions. Source: Yojimbo.
His qualifications are wanting a change in direction when the status quo isn't working. What the hell is the point of keeping geriatric corrupt asshole in charge of the DNC when they would rather lose to Trump than allow a progressive to win? What has all their supposed wisdom wrought?
Russia wants useful idiots. This guy...well he's not useful.
Cerave makes good products IMO but their prices have absolutely exploded in recent years. In 2020 you could get the 87ml bottle on the left there for $12 on sale. Now its double that. Absolutely insane, and unless your skin absolutely won't tolerate anything else it's definitely not worth it.
He would have to learn French (doesn't seem likely) and enter a FAR more competitive federal environment than the cushy job he currently has where a mostly apathetic Ontario electorate votes him in by default every few years. I just don't see it. Going from Ontario premiere with a steady stream of majority governments to a topping out as federal opposition leader is arguably a demotion.
This probably won't be a starvation situation. This will be a supply crunch for all the cheap shit at Walmart and Target that Americans love.
