TMNT Tuesday returns this week with exclusive previews you can’t get anywhere else. This week we’ve got an exclusive preview from three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles projects: TMNT ADVENTURES COMPENDIUM VOL. 1 HC, TMNT: Last Ronin II Evolution #5, and TMNT: Saturday Morning Adventures #24.

The kingdom of Renais lies shattered by a sudden invasion! Use cunning strategy to guide the royal heirs Eirika and Ephraim on their twin quest to rebuild Renais. Take advantage of your strengths and exploit your enemy's weaknesses, but be careful: if a soldier perishes on the battlefield, they're gone forever!

In a world of dragons and magic, you must always be ready for battle. Take advantage of the terrain and the weapon in your hand, and attack enemies either from afar using magic or up close with your sword. Each weapon has its own strength and weakness, so choose wisely when attacking your opponent, because you don't want to be caught off guard.

Build the perfect army. Do you want a pegasus rider or a wyvern rider? An assassin or a rogue? Upgrade your troops to different classes, each with their own skills and weapons, and save the land from the forces of darkness!

Witness the system’s powerful processing speeds delivering visuals never seen before on a Nintendo system via a bigger screen showcasing vibrant color and clarity. I'd get this day one if it was the whole game in a cartridge, instead of the stupid game-key card 😠

Yeah, there's not much info on the title yet, I'll wait and see if it's worth pulling too.

That's cool! And it gets cooler when you get a Skell!

I haven't played the Making of Karateka. I think I'd really enjoy it too, but I decided I had to miss at least one (I can't afford all the games I want to play both in money and time 😄).

How are you enjoying Xenoblades Chronicles X? I thought of getting it, but I played it on the Wii U, and I have too many good Switch games to play, so I didn't double dip.

I've been playing Star Overdrive, which I talked about here. I need to get back to Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story and eventually start Tetris Forever. I got the physical version, but I know once I start it, it'll be the only game I play for a while 😅 I love the Digital Eclipse interactive documentary format!

I played a bit of The Mortuary Assistant recently. It's scary but quite clunky and sort of boring in parts. I'll give it another chance soon, potentially this weekend.

Exactly! The NES or Famicom d-pads are perfect. How did they get them wrong for the most expensive Switch controller?!

At least this time around they got the naming right 😅

But yeah, publish a FAQ somewhere. I don't even want to get started on NSO and digital games for Switch 2...

I finished it in just under 20 hours. I was trying to get to the ending to be able to write the review before the embargo lifted. And I didn't know how long it was. So I'd say it was a bit more rushed than I'd usually play. You need to do a few quests to level up your board and character, but you don't miss out too much if you only play the main story.

The performance is fine, there are issues in specific parts with a lot of objects, but nothing too big.

It runs well, the gameplay on the trailer is real. It has some frame drops in specific situations, but like any other Switch game. Nothing game breaking. And the action and surfing around the world is fast.

Can you buy the cart for Metroid Prime 4 for Switch 2 and use it in the original Switch?

I'm not sure about this. Maybe? The box says "includes the Nintendo Switch game", but it's not clear.

Or can you only buy the Switch version and then if used in the Switch 2, get the upscaling benefits, but not any extra content?

The upgrade pack is also available separately, either buying it or if you have Nintendo Online. The upscaling I guess comes for free for any Switch games.

I played through the main story with a review code, and it's pretty good. It doesn't hide its inspiration from The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it adds the hoverboard stuff and other features and puzzle mechanics which are interesting!

Good to have confirmation on this! That's how I'm getting Metroid Prime 4 then...

Nintendo: This is a more detailed point but for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller directional buttons, we made it so that it's even more difficult to have mistaken input. Of course, it doesn't completely eliminate that possibility but it should reduce it.

I'm glad they fixed the embarassingly terrible and unusable d-pad from the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. I can't believe that d-pad passed the QA or testing stages of the release process...
