This does put a smile on my face

On The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Peterson summarized Carney's book 'Values' as a manifesto for deindustrialization and central planning that conflicts with the current Liberal platform.

Of course, there's the chance that there's a party split and a better party for the left arises...not sure how likely that is though.

But they have socialism and chocolate so let's not pay attention to the homicide rates.

Haha nah but jokes aside I think this has less to do with Sweden having a rash of violent crimes than El Salvador drastically reducing violent crime, as Sweden had record low murder numbers last year.

Man if they can just keep this up for 2 or 3 years, we've got the 2028 election on lock.

Honestly, with how fiercely Democrats support MS-13, Tren De Aragua members, and illegal immigrants who murder people, rape, people, and deal drugs, I have to keep pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming that some rogue right wing ragebaiter has completely taken over the Democrat party and forced it to consistently take some of the most idiotic positions post-Biden.

No, the UK imports violent criminals too. But yeah even Canada, for all of its faults, doesn't seem to import violent ones.

I think my favorite has gotta be Birds Of Prey. Bad movie, and kinda woke, but I had a blast with it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Second favorite would have to be Love Hurts. It sucks but somehow really works for me.

A combination of issues have the Democrats back on their heels.

Yes but one fear is that eventually directors will go without the studio altogether, no?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago (2 children)

My only fear is that I think this will make theatrical distribution harder. Give your movie to Lionsgate and they will use your connections to get your movie in the vast majority of theaters. Can one producer or even a team he hires compete with that type of network?

I love going to the movies but I'm sorry, I'm not driving 300 miles just to watch a movie before it hits streaming, even if I really like the director.
