What was the first modem you ever had? How fast was it? in c/[email protected]

Don't remember any other details about the modem other than the speed (56k). Also, that it was significantly cheaper to dial-up during the night. I guess that could be the reason why I grew up as a night owl. 😅

So I did figure out that yes, [#Mastodon](https://jammer.social/tags/Mastodon) can federate [#Lemmy](https://jammer.social/tags/Lemmy) and [#Kbin](https://jammer.social/tags/Kbin) content. The problem in c/[email protected]

This is really interesting to hear, never thought of these services allowing enough access to effectively use something self-hosted for consolidation. Will definitely look into it!
