Every good thing the EU does is stuff which slipped through the cracks of the deeply corrupt officials and their lobbyists overlords. The EU just does so much stuff, that sometimes something slips through before the officials can be bribed to stop it.

Thank you for your detailed reply! I personally view LMG videos as purely entertaining, they shouldn’t trash other people for data quality or accuracy, since they are rather weak in that field as well. Rather they should focus on entertainment for entertainment’s sake, where they are - at least in my opinion - stronger than a lot of the rest.
Which meaningless drama did I miss here?
I only remember the Samsung rugged ones, which do not look great. Some compromise will be needed to get removable batteries into phones. Compromises the buyer of a gold iPhone Pro Max to flex their wealth won’t appreciate. Not DRMing batteries and giving users access to documentation and tools for replacing the battery requires almost no compromise from no one (except a tiny dent in Apple‘s balance sheet, which they will recover from, I’m sure).
This. People read this and think about the removable batteries of Nokia bricks and plastic hardshells, but this would really hamper with IP68 rating. It probably just means the users must be able to replace the battery themselves, instead of artificially locking it down with DRM. And maybe provide some documentation. Otherwise phones would become so much worse, than they have been for more than a decade.
I won’t get my hopes up, since VR is all but dead without some VR-first/VR-exclusive AAA games, but maybe, maybe Apple’s Vision Pro, triggered some FOMO somewhere.
Far from it, it their profit is down like a lot.
Oh sorry, this wasn’t an iOS-vs-Android dig, all the android manufacturers are constantly near bankruptcy, but apple has shareholders who are expecting growth, they will be hurt the most by consumers holding their on to their phones longer. (Samsung is reporting over 90% profit shrinkage, the Chinese brands are probably just PLA plants to capture as much communication as possible worldwide without a profit motive to begin with)
That is going to be a problem for apple, better make the next iPhone’s battery be unreplaceable and self destruct after 2 years.
I played destiny religiously, did all my weekly stuff, told my wife we couldn’t do anything that evening, since I needed to do something before the reset, things like this. During Witch Queen I fell behind my buddies since I wanted to play the campaign on legendary as we had done during each Halo release, but they didn’t want to, since it wasn’t „economical“ to play it Legendary the first time. This was my wake up call, that something was seriously wrong.
Since I wasn’t Raid ready in time, I fell off hard as soon as VotD released and didn’t really come back. Paradoxically: Playing Witch Queen‘s campaign on legendary alone or with Randos was the most fun I had with Destiny in ages.
I can understand your sentiment in general, but the “grey color palette”, isn’t accurate. There are so many biomes in this game that you probably just caught one specific which heavily leaned towards grey. But I have played in lush forests and some of the currently trending viking-elf-aesthetics, which have definitely not been grey.
The game is really boring and grindy, though. I bought it on a whim, expecting Dark Souls with guns, like the marketing suggested. But it’s more like Gears of War meets Diablo or Destiny. This is a really bland third person shooter, with some interesting enemies and bosses but so much loot-based grind and so many resources to trade with different vendors. While the story is really one dimensional and tired.
I wouldn’t recommend this game if you are looking for a souls like as the marketing suggests, but only if Destiny-but-Gears-instead-of-Halo is your thing and you have a complete party of friends ready to join. Then this game has its moments.
You are alright bot, you tried your best!
