I hate subtitles, I find them distracting. I love to read books, I read a lot. But if I want to read a book in that moment I will read a book. I want to watch and listen to what's on the TV, not read it.
My wife prefers them though, so it's a point of contention.

Personally, I bought a 14" Alienware just for remote programming in vscode on a server. I don't play games on it, but it's quite the powerhouse for everyday use.
I just moved, but my previous house has fiber 100 feet away, but the ISP wouldn't hook me up because they insisted that they needed at least 10 houses to commit in a neighborhood before they'd put service in it. I tried to get my neighbors on board for 3 years before I sold my house to move an hour away. Still no fiber, but there's no fiber to tease me with now, heh
The article did mention the rotational pole moves my meters on its own every year, so it's not as scary to me by itself. What scares me is how this clearly illustrates that humans are having a far bigger global impact on the planet than many are in denial about.

Considering the Legal Eagle video I just watched about the lawyer getting into trouble because chatgpt citied non-existent legal cases for him that nobody verified really existed, you shouldn't ever trust it at face value. Use it to aid your research, sure. But don't blindly present it's findings to a judge, ha.
