I went to a Sanders rally back in 2016 in Seattle and another time in Tacoma, and the vibe and energy was just amazing.
Portugal the Man played at the Tacoma rally as a surprise guest!

That child has been failed by her parents and your father is a predator.
I'm so sorry for you and for her.
Gotcha.
I didn't think about it that way-- thanks for pointing it out.
I guess it just infuriates me that anyone even thinks that way.
Get out of here.
A teenager should not have to sell her body for financial stability.
And for power? Power often translates into domestic abuse-- just look at how RFK Jr. drove his wife to suicide by denying her their children by abusing his power.
And religion? That's even worse.
We do not need to be following any rule sets written in times when humans did not comprehend the complexities of human cognition and healthy mental & psychosocial development.
The only reason you gave that has any merit is that it is recommended that when someone you love is in a victim in an abusive relationship you maintain a positive relationship with the victim so that their abuser cannot isolate them from their support system, which makes the victim more likely to escape an abuse relationship.
That house could be yours for $750,000.
Arriba la piratería!
Guess what?
Boycotting instructions and lists of MAGA businesses to avoid are spread at the protests.
Maybe you would know that if you actually attended one instead of being lambasted on the internet over your idiocy.
I can only assume you are all bots meant to discourage people from protesting, and others would be wise to report and call out these accounts.
What does protesting even do?
That's five million Americans standing in solidarity.
That's five million Americans connecting, organizing, and sharing resources.
That's five million Americans not shopping or working that day.
That's five million Americans being inspired to run for office and support others who are.
These protests are only going to get bigger and bigger as the word spreads.
Join them, or STFU about how nobody is doing anything.
It's on Netflix!
Also, keep your therapists' phone number on hand! 🙂
Five million Americans protested on April 5th.
Maybe if people like you actually showed instead of burying your head in the sand we'd have the results you are craving.
If you are on the side of Justice, your stance is the wrong one to take.
Solidarity is the right way forward. Take a break when it gets to be too much, but you cannot tune out just because you are upset.
Idiocracy.
It usually takes a while for a position to fill. Maybe like 2-3 weeks for a restaurant/retail job, longer for white collar jobs.
It is kinda rare that the first place you apply to hires you, because the competition for good jobs can be pretty intense.
I would recommend that you apply to as many places as you can that sound appealing to you.
Try applying to one or two places every day, and let others within your circles know that you are looking for a new job, because they may know of openings where they or people in their circles work at.
Random work tips:
When negotiating your pay, research the market rate paid for that position online and add like 5-10%. This is because almost everyone I know low-balls themselves, and it let's the business pretend to negotiate you down.
As soon as you know a job is toxic, it is super important to leave as soon as you can. Do not ever tolerate abusive treatment at work because then you'll become accustomed to it and get trapped in toxic jobs over and over again.
Never stay at one job longer than two years, even if it's a nice enough place or because you really like your coworkers. The only way nowadays to get a decent raise is to find another job that pays more than the one you have. Everytime I switched employers, I just about doubled my salary. Coworkers that stayed put out of fear or whatever are still making what I was making five years ago in salary.
Work your paycheck. NEVER work harder than you are being paid to, because that will become the expectation every single fucking day. Move slowly and deliberately. Do not talk too much, keep to yourself, and smile a lot like you're kinda stupid.
Compliment those you work with and occasionally gift them small cheap gifts like coffee, cookies, or some flowers-- but never your boss. This makes it harder for asshole coworkers to start drama or rumors against you because you flattered them on occasion.
Best of luck, you got this! 🙂
