Same. I think it adds some awesome character

I ended up going with the 28mm. I like it too, kinda wish it had a little higher of a loft, but nothing to lose sleep over. Stirling x Zenith++
How are you liking the Stirling x Zenith boar?
Apparently I'd been logged out at some point and didn't even notice.
What a great conversation though! I only have a 10/8, but I do have my sights set on a 12/8 next. Or maybe another Japanese razor.
I suppose I hadn't ranked my Roman to my Fili, but as I think about it, I think I do kind of prefer the paddle over the Fili. Undoubtedly, the steel on both are great. I was extremely happy with Roman's high carbon. They're both very silky feeling.
I guess what it really comes down to, is the ease in which it moves. Granted, we need no pressure at all, and with a dialed in edge, everything should just glide. The 10/8 though, is comparable in weight to an 8/8 near wedge. So it takes even less than to get it going and keep it going, but with the delicate feel of a full hollow vs the sturdier and silent Near Wedge grind.
Thanks for getting my attention on reddit @[email protected]
For real. They're so clean and make the color everywhere else just pop.
Yessir. I just unpinned and cleaned up someone's razor a couple weeks using this method. If your tool is free of damage and smooth, it shouldn't really be an issue. I might also add that I crimp a side then rotate and make the actual cut to help minimize the force needed.
That looks great! Awesome job!
I've always just used flush cutters and a punch to get pins free. So far it hasn't caused an issue for me.
