Most of these bikes can go 20 mph+, with many able to do 30mph+ in "off road mode". For someone that lives in a smaller city that doesn't require freeway use, these are a fantastic way to save money on transport.

You mean base-10? My totally unrealistic pipe dream would be to have the world switch to base-12.

This is awesome! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Linux implementation of Proton Drive next!

Just dusted off my Boosted Board for my first ride of the summer!

I really hope the visibility created by being ported to other distros will allow for more applet development.

KOReader is a pretty decent ereader option, it matches what I put on my Kobo.

The only thing that is stopping me from daily driving the pre-alpha is the fact that I can't get my VPN to connect.

Troubleshooting steps so far:

  • Everything suggested on the notification in the screenshot, including restarting, signing out, and trying other servers.
  • Using the Advanced Network Configuration app as suggested by @mmstick in a Reddit post. Tried importing a Proton VPN configuration and entering the OpenVPN info manually.

It connects just fine in the current Gnome DE, and I don't have enough know-how to understand what's not working in COSMIC.

This might be wishful thinking, but I've been so excited to how Project Virgo turns out. An in-house design from System76 would be amazing, and I hope more info is released soon.

All keycaps are from SPK (Formerly PimpMyKeyboad), which provides custom keycap sizing for the unique specs of the Launch keyboard. Goes well with my Cosmic DE layout!

Federated communities have been a challenge to me, because I've usually been a passive consumer, never really contributing.

I am trying to comment much more and hopefully post, because I want to help contribute the type of content that I want to see!
