Sadly, it does. I hate fucking discord since I've started using it, the quirky facade and everything. We use it as webrtc and I would gladly drop it for anything less clown shoes, but the noise cancelation just works.
Luckily it's eight years since I've used anything Zuck-owned so I can enjoy the enshittification and pushback this will cause.

It was already barely tolerable, and only because gaben's webrtc doesn't have noise filtering as good as discord, but this new shit is either fully toggleable or it can fuck itself.
I quite like it. Once you get used to the timings of actions you can be quite fast and fluid in combat and it's good enough to carry the game by itself, much better gunplay than gta. And the story is not the worst, though it is a slog occasionaly. Graphics do a lot of heavy lifting
