It’s echo chamber headline bait. Any “people think such and such” headline is just there to tell you what you want to hear. There’s no action here. Nothing useful. Just bricks in the echo chamber wall.

It’s more likely that Zuck or Musk paid someone to go play moderator. Anyone can become a moderator.

Are we talking about Elon and his dad now? According to Behind the Bastards it’s how they both acquired their first wives.

She’s medically trained, so she knows where to hit him. In addition, there’s a lack of barrier to entering the physical space of strangers and physically touching them just in general. That barrier almost doesn’t exist for medical. The rest of the world, middle of the bell curve, hesitates.

And if she’s done direct patient care at any point in her career, there’s a good chance she has no patience left for shenanigans.

There’s no such thing as always or never when it comes to people, except death.

Depends. That’s the issue though. DEMs is a giant bag of angry cats fighting amongst themselves, gatekeeping one another, and more or less telling one another how they should be while saying it’s all inclusive.

The infighting is real. I’ll give the repubs credit for unity, they’re strangely good at it, just look at Tesla. Ten years of hating Tesla and hazing Tesla drivers. Now, the same people are driving cars into protesters for daring to smear the company. That’s unity. Blind unity. But unity.

We can’t do anything even remotely close to that in party.

Therein lies the point of MAGA efforts. If you keep your base punching the left then they won’t remember they’re working class, not really being crushed by the left, and may start to punch up.

They’re already too scared to do in person town halls. Even so, this steered rage is intentional.

You’re not displaced by corporate, but by immigrants, DEI, and non-traditional women.

Just about everyone wants to see themselves in the main player character of an RPG. It’s one reason character creators exist. Why we can choose between male and female Shepard and then toggle their appearances. But why is it white men yell the loudest when they don’t see themselves in a fixed main character?

It’s a valid question. Sure there was an ask for female assassin play, but it wasn’t anything like this crude, angry, and off the rails epidemic we see far too often. Why is this population so loud and rage filled?

I happily play Witcher, and enjoy Geralt for who he is, including those tired sighs and the long hair that blows in a wind that’s not there. Geralt looks like he’s been torn off the cover of an old bodice ripper novel, which is a bit of an eye roll but adds to the humor. Even so. As a woman I had no problems with it or the game. I’ve played W3 through twice.

Enter Ciri as the main for the next game. Suddenly there’s a huge problem even though she’s the logical next Witcher. I’d like to know how she plays as a character outside the premade with gimped UI. The preview to 4 was nicely nuanced as well, a lot of detail packed into that clip apart from just simple spooky monster fighting. She clearly has a chip on her shoulder about life choices, and fair enough given her history.

Again, no raging outcry regarding Geralt or the way he looked for 3 installments. Now there’s outcry.

I’m not Japanese or Black and yet I’ll happily play this latest AC (but only after its old and goes on sale).

If you use a faraday bag, there’s no need to leave your phone.

Isn’t this President Musk’s baby? This will never happen.

It’s the high tech higher money version of taking advantage of migrant workers. It’s like legal indentured service for a visa, and you can bypass some of those pesky labor laws.

Chinesium items you normally run to Amazon for, the same exact items, the same pictures even, at 2/3 to 1/2 the price: Temu. I’m not buying clothes there, but the price difference is real.

Those of us who are older remember eBay before Amazon. Phone chargers, cases, adapters, that’s where you went. Then all that product slid over to Amazon as it rose to prominence beyond bookselling. Then Walmart wanted a piece and duplication on two markets happened. Now it’s more directly available on Temu. Ali before that, just not as heavily advertised. Bonus, Bezos doesn’t get paid. Same crap, different vibe.

The Chinesium is still cheap, even with tariffs, you just have to bypass more middlemen to get there. High odds you won’t have easy returns like Amazon and Walmart, that’s the trade off.

I’m not sure ambition is the right descriptor here. It reads more like an old school bully group of kids taking actions that appeal to their social group. Followed by a fist bump or a snide shrug.

Or the new-ish paramedic who intubates for the point, having never done the procedure before, only to have the patient extubated in the ER after they complete the drop off and leave. That’s not quite right as an analogy, but this ICE behavior seems to exist between this and the bully group of school kids performing for one another.

This came up in my health care forum.

Right now, you can legally detain someone medically when they are a danger to themselves or others for up to 72hrs. The details vary by state, but this is how we lock down individuals trying to suicide or someone mentally off the rails making threats of violence.

This variation on that law would also make opposition to Trump qualify.

Civil commitment can follow as with individuals who have profound mental illness and are not safe to be out in the world.

This is the loudest scream that democracy is dead short of hauling people out into the street and shooting them.

It’s important to note the police are currently the people who bring individuals in for the 72hr mental health holds.

Who doesn’t like Cuban? He symbolizes the American dream. He actually is from nothing, not born with a gold plated spoon up his ass.

He’s slowly breaking big pharma with cost plus which We The People are already saving money on. He supports young business.

What’s Elon doing for working people besides firing them and forcing them to return to the office? He’s from daddy money and apartheid.

This second political campaign between these two is both horrifying and enthralling.

Cubans many appearances are making great YouTube shorts, which where I started to notice this campaigning happening alongside fake “Harris” campaign text blitzes from Elon’s side of it.
