Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hilary is expected to bring heavy rain and wind to Southern California tomorrow (Sunday, August 20), lasting until Monday (August 21). This will affect the following:

  • In-person activities and events scheduled for Sunday, August 20 and Monday, August 21 will be canceled or rescheduled.
  • The Bronco Student Center and the Gym (BRIC) will be closed on Monday, August 21
  • University Housing Services have canceled all move-in appointments on 8/20 and 8/21. Additional move-in appointments have been added for 8/22 (Tuesday) and 8/23 (Wednesday), and incoming residents should reschedule to those dates. An early move-in form is also available for those with extenuating circumstances preventing them from moving in after Tuesday.
  • Fall Conference events scheduled for 8/21 have been canceled, and some may be rescheduled to a later date, pending further communication.
  • Critical campus services will continue in-person. Campus employees are encouraged to work from home if they can on 8/21.

CPP expects to return to full operations on Tuesday, August 22.

  • $250 for undergraduates taking 7 units or more

  • $150 for graduate students and undergraduates taking 6 units or fewer

This replaces the previous per-course pricing system. If you do not wish to participate in IAC, you may opt out before the end of the Fall 2023 Add/Drop period.
