Economics is very much overhauled from CS1 and much more complex. But it seems rather open and you can "control" as much or as little as you want. Interesting to see this play out at release.

It seems that climate and time of day is very much tied in to the mechanics of the simulation. Leads me to believe it's unlikely we will be given much control over it, although I hope I am wrong here we can at least stay in day time as a visual setting or something. Mods will defiantly help on PC-version.

Seems like a good upgrade for the day/night cycle and weather from beeing cosmetic in CS1 to something maybe a bit more realistic.

A new developer diary for Cities Skylines 2 has been released, and is chock-full of information and interesting insights about the upcoming game.

Many well-requested improvements, some mechanics introduced in Cities Skylines 1 DLC and one entirely new service type are all coming to the game.

A friend who is on holiday in Brazil sent me this picture. My first reaction was why is he sending me a City Skylines screenshot ?

It's Thursday, so time for another developer insight!

So much new stuff announced: Mixed use, zoning styles, supply chain, signature buildings, industrial zones, building themes and much more!

I'm looking for suggestions! Always love watching City Planner Plays, Biffa is nice here and there. Looking for other creators to add to my watch list. Thank you!!

Just finished with a fresh re-install after a few months away from, and updates to the game. Going through my subscriptions to see whats broken or discontinued and came across Skyve instead of Compatibility report tool.

I run Linux so was expecting some issues when I realized Skyve worked with an external app. However I was wrong and pleasantly surprised when it just worked as described.

What a great app! It does everything and does it well. Subscribe, unsub, suggest replacement mods for incompatible ones. The lot!

There's no real point to this post other than to say how impressed I am and to say thanks to anyone involved in making this mod and app combo, if any happen to read this.
