Gotta say I’m really disappointed with all of the specialty large molded parts. It feels like Nintendo doesn’t understand what makes LEGO special compared to competitor brands and is trying to push them toward the Megablox or COBI direction. These specialty pieces is part of what almost killed LEGO as a company in the early 2000s.

Special thanks to Duane Collicott & co. as well as Skyline High School for putting on a great show for everyone!

I’m not sure how many people already knew this but I didn’t and I’ve been regularly going to LEGO stores for several years now.

If you tell the store employees it’s your birthday they’ll let you build a free minifig. Even better, they have some exclusive parts they keep behind the register for this specific purpose (although the person at my store said you can use the BAM parts instead if you’d prefer).

It only came up because I mentioned to an employee that I’ve been collecting the brick suit figures and he mentioned that there was an exclusive one (reddish orange) in the birthday figure parts (they previously released this in a different shade of orange).

The only bad thing is that it doesn’t look like they make normal reddish orange legs. They make medium legs in this color for an Animal Crossing figure.

Anyways, I figured this info was worth sharing.

Pretty much the title.

I already have quite a few communities on my plate so I would rather avoid becoming a mod here as well.

It shouldn't take much work anyway, Lego aren't really a very debatable topic
