Could you have brought this up during the election, when he said he would enact tariffs?
Plenty of people were talking about it. Did you really miss it?
It's really annoying seeing the major news outlets now put up articles about how egg prices aren't the presidents fault and tariffs are really going to suck when I've been saying it for the past 6 months. They spent so much effort sucking up to trump only now to tell us he sucks?
Remember that most mainstream media have been bought by orange fascists.
Nah, media was too busy wringing their hands over Biden being old.
That should make everyone seethingly furious that Biden's age and any other bullshit was treated the same as Trump naming the evil shit he'd do.
There were open letters from hundreds of economists. People didn’t want to hear.
Yep. People see the media they want to see. Nobody was paying attention to the stories about how this exact thing would happen. And what do you know it's happening.
Even then let's say the media sucks and we were completely not told by anyone. All you had to do was remember 4 years ago... But that's also too much to ask these days.
Figuring out that tarrifs are going to raise your prices takes about as much brainpower as figuring out what will happen when you saw through a branch you are sitting on...
