Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Posting this now after what happened in DC, in Philadelphia, and the Philippines is insensitive.
I know a person who had an Instagram account that passed recently. It's a little insensitive for you to bring it up so close to their passing.
I knew a person once.

This isn't dunking on anyone or harming anyone. It's not punching down. It's making fun of Cinnabon (and of marketing), not plane crashes. I think your comment is a bit over-the-top.
I would agree it’s not insensitive. However, if it’s making fun of advertising, why use the actual stylized brand name?
Because that's what makes it funny.
Any real brand would work, but "Have a Let's™ Brand Potato Chip" reminds you that it's fake. By having a real brand you have that brief moment of confusion before realizing it must be fake, but it's funny to think about the "what if".
If it is real advertising, then kudos to Cinnabon for being early to the game. It will be like Branded Twitter accounts where Wendy's capitalized early, it was funny, but now no one cares.
