So, this is probably a dumb question since I haven't been following this. Why hasn't Adam's been removed from office through other means? From what I've read, the city council can impeach with a majority vote which would then go to the state senate for a trial. Also, the governor has the right to remove elected local officials.
So, why is this guy still in office, regardless of the criminal trial moving forward?
