Damn, Emperor really like big melon.

More examples of the emperor being based:

  • he's not a lolicon given that he didn't go after the young consort
  • he wants to stop genital mutilation
  • looks like he's the one lending his weight behind the progressive policies being rolled out

I can't help but think he is being set-up to be the final antagonist though, with a power struggle between him and Jinshi for the throne.

Don't we all. But Lihua and Gyokuyou are also voiced by two of my fav seiyuu (Ishikawa Yui and Tanezaki Atsumi, repsectively), and they are indeed very well endowed.
