Lol Your takeaway is manage your debt and not this is horrible on every level, and then you tell people they're the ones being manipulated.
When some eldritch horror attacks some people gonna be like 'well, it's important to manage how much blood-proof your walls are'.
Debt is one of the primary ways we are controlled. Eliminating as much of your debt as possible as fast as possible reduces the ability of capitalists to control you. It's just smart.
That's nice dear, but some of us need food and shelter to exist long term.
